Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-31

This policy covers iGBA, eDuo and eNES, published under the mattials name.

Your files stay yours

Game files, saves, save states and cheat lists are stored on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your own iCloud container. They are never uploaded to us. We run no servers that hold your content and we have no way to read it. There is no account to create and nothing to log in to.

On Android, iGBA keeps all of this in the app's private storage, which file managers, other apps and a computer connected over USB cannot open. Android's automatic backup does not include it, so it is deleted when you uninstall the app. To keep a copy, export a backup or a game's .sav from inside the app first.

Microphone

eDuo asks for the microphone only for games that listen for your voice or for you blowing into it. The sound is passed to the game as it runs, on your device; it is never recorded, stored or sent anywhere. You can turn the permission off in Settings at any time.

Advertising

iGBA and eNES show ads through Google AdMob unless you buy PRO. AdMob may process an advertising identifier and coarse location to select an ad. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland we show Google's consent form before requesting a personalised ad; decline and you get contextual ads instead. On iOS we honour your App Tracking Transparency choice — saying no costs you nothing but personalisation. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device's Google or privacy settings. See how Google uses data from apps that use its services.

Purchases

PRO and subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple, and on Android by Google Play. We never see your payment details — only an anonymous receipt. Manage or cancel in your device settings or in Google Play; deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Link play

Nearby link play connects two devices directly over the local network or Bluetooth. That traffic is game data between your own devices; it does not pass through us and is not recorded.

Online link play (iGBA) pairs two devices through a small relay we run on Cloudflare. The relay forwards the game data the two devices exchange during a session — button presses, the game's save data and sync checksums — and nothing else: no account, no name, no game file. It keeps nothing after the session ends and does not log what passes through it. Cloudflare sees the connection metadata any web request carries (such as your IP address) under its own privacy policy. Room codes are random and expire on their own.

Analytics

No third-party analytics SDK. We see only the anonymous, aggregate crash reports Apple and Google Play share with every developer, and only if you opted in at the system level.

Children

Not directed at children under 13; we do not knowingly collect their data.

iGBA, eDuo and eNES are listed on the App Store under the name Mattia La Spina; billing and advertising are managed by G. Hdez.

This website and cookies

This website sets no cookies and uses no local storage, analytics, tracking pixels, embedded third-party content or contact forms, so there is nothing to consent to and no cookie banner. Fonts and images are served from this same domain. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which processes your IP address and request data in transient server logs to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse, under its privacy policy.

Legal basis and retention

If you email us we use your message only to answer it (legitimate interest, GDPR art. 6(1)(f), or steps you ask for under art. 6(1)(b)) and delete it once the matter is closed, unless the law requires us to keep it. Personalised ads in our apps rely on your consent (art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time from the app's privacy settings or your device settings. Google and Cloudflare may process data outside the EU under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Your GDPR rights

You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing by writing to the email above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
